Favorite Things Shirt – Design Acknowledgment & Approval

By confirming your icon selection and approving your design preview, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Handmade Nature

Each Favorite Things Shirt is individually embroidered and handmade. While great care is taken with every design, minor variations in icon placement, spacing, and symmetry may occur as part of the embroidery process. These shirts are designed and embroidered individually, not mass produced. Customers ordering should be comfortable with the small variations that naturally occur in handmade embroidery.

2. Icon Design Variations

Icons are digitally created and then translated into embroidery. Because of the nature of embroidery, some icons may appear slightly different from the digital preview.

3. Thread Color Differences

Colors displayed on screens may vary from actual embroidery thread colors. I will always select the closest possible thread match, but exact color matching to the digital preview cannot be guaranteed.

4. Final Design Approval

Before embroidery begins, you will receive a preview of your icons and overall design. It is the customer’s responsibility to carefully review the preview for accuracy. While I do my best to accurately translate each requested icon into the design, managing multiple icons and requests can occasionally lead to mistakes in the preview.

For example, if a basketball is requested but a baseball appears in the preview and the preview is approved without correction, the baseball shown in the approved preview will be the icon embroidered on the final shirt.

5. Customer Confirmation

Once the preview is approved, the design is considered final. Changes cannot be made after approval or once embroidery production has begun.

Yes! I allow two rounds of revisions of icons. After that, there will be an additional fee to change icons. Once I get your final approval and begin stitching, I am unable to accommodate new requests.

The idea came during lunch with a friend who was wearing a shirt from a well-known clothing brand with small embroidered hearts all over it. At the time, I had just started learning embroidery and thought it would be fun to create something similar for an upcoming bachelorette trip, but instead of hearts I stitched my best friends’ favorite things across the shirt.
